Academic Resources
Make use of these academic resources that are geared towards sociologists. This includes topical essays of interest written by Cornell faculty and graduate students, links to computing resources, and various other resources of interest. This webpage is designed to compile the diffuse know-how from throughout the department.
Note: Kim Weeden's extremely helpful "Job Market Advice" has been taken down until the department intranet is up and running. Sorry for any inconvenience.
Coming Soon: "Reading is Fundamental" is a collection of articles, readings, and books that have helped sociology graduate students grasp one of the many sub-disciplines of sociology. Each citation is accompanied by a short description of what one can expect (written by the submitting student). If you need some help deciding what A-exams you would be interested in (or just want to add little more to your knowledge banks), these articles will provide guidance and a good feel for what each sub-discipline is all about.
Please send additional contributions to mws24@cornell.edu.
